George Harrison died peacefully on Thursday, November 29, 2001 after a long struggle with cancer.
His wife, Olivia, their son, Dhani, and several close friends were at his side.
During the past several years, George has battled lung, throat, and brain cancer. His fight to extend his life by trying several conventional and experimental methods of therapy has been very inspirational.
The sun has set but we will always remember the sunrise. And what a beautiful sunrise it was!
We will miss you very much, George. Thank you very much for everything that you have given us.
